 Bleu
de France is one cruise ship with long history and very attractive
style. The cruise ship was built on 22nd December, 1980 in the ship-yard
of Bremen Vulkan in Germany for the company Hapag-Lloyd. The first
this ship was named Europa, which is the name of many ships, owned
by this company. Hapag-Lloyd operated with this cruise ship 17 years,
but in 1999 the ship was sold to Star Cruises, and of course the
ship was renamed to SuperStar Europe. This was the second, but definitely
not last owner of the cruise ship, which is now pretty old, but
still in service. After this the ship was sold to Pullmantur Cruise
and the final owner, which is operating with the cruise ship today
is CDF Croisieres de France, and the ship is renamed to Bleu de
France. Many of cruise ships on these ages are pretty in bad condition,
but our hero in this issue is as good as in the year of building.
Bleu de France made a lot of cruises and transported many passengers
among the shores of Europe, Caribbean and South America, but now
is operated mostly in the Western Coast of Europe. The ship was
length of 199.63 meters and beam of 28.55 meters. The draft of the
cruise ship is 8.30 meters and the deadweight is 33,819 metric tons.
In the year of building the shipping was steps behind nowardays,
but the main engines are pretty new and modern 7-cylinder MAN-Bremen
Vulkan diesel engines, which are giving a maximum power of 21,270
kW. This power is enough for this cruise ship is reach speed of
21 knots, which is high rate for ship older than 25 years. The capacity
of Bleu de France is 752 passengers, who will be served from 406
crew members. The ship is still offering very good service and luxury
atmosphere. The crew will make their best to create the most attractive
vacation for you and your friends. Only a couple of ships can offer
better cruises than this one and this is very good presentation
of the ship like this.
The ship has large number of public places and will
give a good comfort for her passengers. The public places and large
cabins are the most important thing, which should be known for this
cruise ship. Really you can easily compare the number of passengers
and the measurements of the ship with other newer ships, and you
will receive the answer. The public places of the ship are offering
all  kind
of extras, which can be seen on newer ships, just like spa center,
beauty salons, sport facilities, art gallery and museum. With one
word, you will find everything, which can be seen on higher rated
ship and even more. As I said, the space in the best feature of
this cruise ship. The ship has 12 passenger decks, which are offering
all kind of extras of everyone. The most rated VIP cabins are large,
with 2 bedrooms, large verandahs and own Jacuzzi inside. They are
situated on the top 2 decks of the cruise ship. There is also perfect
ocean-view, which can be seen also from living room, verandah and
one bedroom. Other decks are also nice and luxury and offering large
staterooms with ocean-view. Of course not all of the rooms have
balconies, but really 100% of guest rooms are with ocean view, which
is the most amazing feature of this cruise ship. That is what I
had in mind, when explaining about the beauty of this cruise ship.
Also on board there are good places for parties, just like night
clubs, lounges and dance clubs. The restaurants will offer delicious
food for everyone and every taste and we all know that French kitchen
is really nice. So this cruise ship is from the older one, but really
very beautiful and luxury cruise ships of the world.
