Equinox is the sister-ship of expected this month vessel Celebrity
Solstice. The ship is property of Celebrity Cruises and is ordered
for building from the ship-yard Meyer Werft, Germany. The deadweight
of the vessel is 122,000 metric tons and the length is 315.00 meters,
or 1,033 feet. The ship will be among the most interesting and most
beautiful cruise ship when starts sailing in 2009. The beam of Celebrity
Equinox in the projects will be 37 meters, or 121 feet, while the
draft will be 8.00 meters, or 27 feet. The vessel will have capacity
for 2850 passengers and the crew on board will be with ratio 2.3
versus the guests. The vessel is very nice, very large and beautiful.
The passenger decks on board of Celebrity Equinox will be 19 and
the maximum speed will be 21.5 knots, which is not so high for one
cruise ship. The vessel is well discussed last years, because this
ship should
be very luxury, nice looking and from the ship-builder
prommised that this ship will be the most safety ship of the world.
In
other words, everyone is expecting the beautiful cruise ship Celebrity
Equinox. The ship will have capacity for 2,850 passengers and the
staterooms will be divided into 6 categories. The most luxury category
rooms is the penthouse, situated on 18th and 19th deck. There are
10 rooms from this class, which are VIP stateroom. The penthouse
appartments have large space, 2 rooms - 1 bedroom and 1 living room
large LCD TV set, large verandah and beautiful atmosphere. The cruise
ship will offer also 5 more categories - VIP room with balconies,
large stateooms with oceanview, smaller rooms with oceanview, large
rooms without oceanview and small rooms without oceanview. If you
expect that some of the rooms are not good designed and not good
looking you will be in great mistake, because even
lowest clss stateroom are with large LCD TV sets, nice interior
and whatever you may expect. Also you will be able to have wireless
internet all around the vessel. The cruise ship Celebrity Equinox
will have also a lot of places for entertainment, just like cinema,
theatre, art gallery and museum. And when you want to get a rest
you can make it in some of the spa centers, or beauty saloons. The
sport activities on board are consisted of climbing, football, basketball,
voleyball, tennis, mini golf and of course fitnes and jogging. And
to get a rest after hard day, you should get som delicious dinner
in some of the restaurants on board, where you will be able to eat
traditional dishes from more than 30 countries, but you will find
the best for your taste. And after dinner is comming the night life,
which is of night-clubs, lounges, bars and dance-clubs. All you
want will be on this cruise ship, so we will wait in 2009 to see
the mayden voyage and the real looking of Celebrity Equinox.
