Dawn was built in Italy in 1995 at price for over 400 million USD.
The vessel has overall length 261.00 meters and length between perpendiculars
of 245.10 meters. The beam of the ship is 32.00 meters and the draft
is 8.00 meters, when fully loaded. The cruise ship has 14 decks
and total height of 49.40 meters. This large ship has gross tonnage
of 68,845 gross with displacement of 6896 metric tons and the capacity
of Pacific Dawn is ,2022 passengers. The ship has main engine of
MAN B&W with total power of 24,000 kW, which are giving to two
propellers ability to reach the speed of 21 knots. The ship is very
large and quite beautiful, which in spite of its age has good service,
strong hull and reliable engine. Pacific Dawn has 2 sister-ships
- Pacific Sun and Pacific Jewel. The ships are really offering high
service holiday on board, served by more than 900 crew members.
The passengers have enough space for them, and when you board Pacific
Dawn definitely will feel the beauty of the cruise. The ship has
795 cabins, divided into 4 different classes. The most luxury cabins
are situated on the top decks, with large verandahs and nice sea-view.
These cabins have large living area, bathrooms, bedrooms and balconies,
which are all designed with unique and luxury interior. The lower-class
cabins are with own balconies, but smaller living area, and not
so shining interior. All these cabins are having all necessary equipment
for nice vacation of board and having good time with your friends,
family  or
alone. The smaller cabins are having not balconies but nice sea-view
from the windows. They are situated on middle decks and having smaller
living area, and some extras are missing. The lowest class cabins
are with no sea-view and they are mostly place just for sleeping.
It doesn’t matter what your cabin looks like, because all
the public area on the ship is free for all the customers. And the
entertainments of board are quite much. For the people on board
the ship is offering fitness, beauty salons, parks, sport facilities,
health spa center, library, museum and cinema. All these entertainments
will fill your time, while traveling from one point of the world
to another. You will be able to see beauty of Caribbean, Australia,
Indonesia and whatever you can imagine. Together with this the ship
has great restaurants, pizzas and pubs. You can get good dinner
and after that the night life starts. And believe me, the nightlife
is some of the best features of the cruise ship. You should visit
the beautiful lounges, disko-clubs and bars. Everything is made
