 Statendam
is cruise vessel with 5 star cruises all over the world. The cruise
ship is very beautiful and offers a great holiday for you and your
friends. You may either rest with your family or make a greatest
party with your friends, because Statendam offers everything you
want to have in one cruise ship. The cruise vessel was built in
1993, but the last reconstruction was in 2005, when the ship was
refitted and made with much more fresh looking. Statendam has a
capacity to carry 1,258 passengers and the number of staterooms
is 629. The deadweight of the ship is 55,819 metric tons, the length
is 220 meters and the beam is 31 meters. This beauty is not so big,
but offers to you nice moments on board. And this is sure, because
of the 557 crew members, who will do everything for you to feel
perfect on your holiday.
On board of the cruise ship Statendam there are three
restaurants, each with good dishes and different style. The first
and also largest restaurant is the prime one – Rotterdam. It
offers special Dutch kitchen, but together with this there you will
find also a lot of other styles of cooking. The capacity of the
restaurant is 658 people, which is nearly half from the all passengers
of the ship. The other restaurant Lido is specialized mostly with
modern kitchen. The capacity of the restaurant is 360 people. The
last restaurant is mostly directed to fast food, when you don’t
want to lose your time while taking a serious lunch. That is  Pinnacle
Grill, with capacity of 62 people. After your breakfast you may
go yto one of the pools on board. The all number of pool is three,
and 2 of them are situated in the open air and one is inside. You
may take a sunbathing, swim or just drink some cocktail near the
water. It depends only from your own choice. All this is just the
basic thinks about you living there. But your free time is still
not filled enough. On board there are fitness and spa facilities,
where you may take a rest or build your body. Also practice sport,
just like volleyball, tennis and jogging alone or with your friends.
And for teenagers there are special halls with games or many bars
and lounges. The teenager disco club is part of the cruise ship’s
night life. The night life on board of Statendam is one of the most
exciting things, special for this vessel. There are 3 disco clubs,
7 night bars and 3 lounges. And that is not everything. On board
of the beautiful cruise ship there are also cafes, internet, satellite
telephones, to hear your friends or your family. For the people
who like art, the organizers offer theatre scenes, and art gallery.
That is a nice place to make your holiday.
And important for cruise ship is also the information
about staterooms. As I said there are 629 staterooms. There are
5 classes of staterooms on board. The first is VIP penthouse stateroom
with living area of nearly 102 square meters. It is fully equipped
for living with nice furniture and very beautiful design. The next
class is deluxe verandah suite, which is very beautiful room with
balcony and living area of nearly 52 square meters. This room is
very luxury and designed to make you feel comfortable. There are
also three more classes of staterooms – double outside cabin
with balcony, large double cabin with ocean view and double cabin
inside.
