class of ships. The vessel was finished by Kawasaki Shipbuilding
on 27th November 2008 and delivered to the ship-owner Tsurumi Sunmarine
Co., Ltd. the ship has overal length of 86.29 meters, while length
between perpendiculars is 80.30 meters. The beam of the vessel is
15.10 meters and the depth is 7.00 meters. The ship has deadweight
of 1,801 metric tons. The ship's gross tonnage is 2,952 gross tons
with cargo capacity of 2,512 cubic meters and while Kakurei Maru
is fully loaded, she reaches draft of 4.30 meters. The main engine
of the ship is Hanshin Diesel LH38L, which is giving to the vessel
power of 2,059 kW at 240 rpm. This is allowing of the ship about
13.0 knots cruising speed, while the maximum one is 13.6 knots.
The ships from this class are well known, as dangerous and flamable.
So the restrictions for ship-building of such ships are high and
requirements for safety are also high. The
ship Kakurei Maru was built as coastal LNG carrier type developed
for convenient short distance transport... date: 6th April, 2009
The
gas carrier Rhourd Enouss is one of the large and very profitable
for the ship-owner Sonatrach Petroleum Corporation, which is operating
with large number of LPG ships. The vessel has capacity for 59,392
cubic meters and deadweight of 44,399 metric tons, with gross tonnage
of 35,306 gross tons. The LPG Carrier has overal length of 204.92
meters, length between perpendiculars of 200.45 meters. The beam
of Rhourd Enouss is 32.20 meters, depth is 20.20 meters and when
the vessel is fully loaded has draft of 12.10 meters. This large
vessel should have strong and reliable main engine, so the ship-builders
installed Kawasaki-MAN B&W 6S60MC-C with full power of 13,560
kW at 105 rpm, which is enough for the vessel to reach maximum speed
of 17.5 knots and operating speed of 17.1 knots. this is too high
speed for such type of vessel, but actually the ship-owner required
so high speed in any cost. The vessel was completed in 2008 by Kawasaki
Shipbuilding Corporation. The vessel is the second delivered vessel.... date: 6th April, 2009
Trinity

12.07 meters. On board of this LNG Carrier is installed main engine
KAWASAKI UA400, which is giving to the vessel full power of 29,420
kW. This power is enough for the ship to reach the maximum cruising
speed of 20.15 knots. But maximum speed of the ship is nearly 1
knot more, or 21.20 knots. But on board of the vessel there are
many systems, because the cargo of such ships is very hard for.... date: 24th July, 2008
