the draft of the VLCC is 18.65 meters, while the ship is fully
loaded. The deadweight of Berge Ichiban is 298,552 metric tons
and the gross tonnage is 159,397 gross tons. The very large crude

class of Berge Ichiban usually have lower speed and they are clumsier,

Ondina
is oil tanker of the Stasco Ship Management, which is operating
for the well-known Shell International Trading and Shipping Company.
The Ondina is Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC), which has deadweight
of about 300,000 metric tons and length of 329.40 meters. The
beam of the cargo ship is 60.90 meters, while the maximum draft
is 21.00 meters. The VLCC has oil capacity of 331,335 cubic meters,
which is about 3.8 millions of barrels. The cargo capacity of
the ship is pretty high, so Ondina is quite important for modern
ship-trading and maritime transport. The ships from this class
are known as the hard workers of the seas, so they should be created
with highest standarts and with largest requirements. The ship
was built in Japan, where we all know that are created some of

is one of the largest product tankers from the fleet of Ernst
Jacob. The vessel has a deadweight of 71,345 metric tons. This

Ana is from the product tankers of Erns Jacob Group and the ship
is managed by Warrow Shipping Ltd. The vessel Santa Ana is not
as large as the more of the product tankers or oil tankers, but
really the ship is not so small. The overall length of the vessel
is 188.93 meters and the length between perpendiculars is 181.53
meters. The beam of Santa Ana is 28.00 meters and the moulded
depth is 16.00 meters. All these measurements are giving to the
product tanker deadweight of 38,695 metric tons. The gross tonnage
of the vessel is 24,252 gross tons and the net tonnage is 11,704
net tons. The vessel Santa Ana was built in August 2002 into the
ship-yard of Daimen Shipyard in Galati, Romania. This is not so
high rated ship-yard, but the vessel is pretty good and is in

Ernst
Jacob Shipping Ltd is ship-owner of some large product tankers,
but today we will claim some smaller tankers, which should be mentioned
in Maritime Transport, because these vessels are so much that we
will see many different classifications. Today's article is the
ship Johann Jacob. The product oil tanker has deadweight of 64,993
metric tons. For product tanker this is pretty big deadweight and
this ship is among large ones. The overall length of Johann Jacob
is 228.5 meters and the length between perpendiculars is 219 meters.
The beam of this product ship is 32.24 meters and the depth 20.20
meters. These two measurements are write on molded values. The net
tonnage of the ship Johann Jacob is 20,900 Net Tons and the Gross
tonnage is 40,037 Gross Tons. And when we are talking about cargo

very large cruise carrier with deadweight of 300,100 metric tons.
The gross tonnage that this vessel can carry is 160,300 metric tons.
This large oil tanker was built in November 2007 and with her innovations
is one of the newest and most beautiful engineer outfits. The length
of Idemitsu Maru 333 meters and the beam is 60 meters. The draught
of the crude carrier is 29 meters and draft, while this ship is

The vessel that we will present to you now is Ardenne Venture, part
of the Euronav fleet with cooperation of Wah Kwong Shipmanagement,
company situated in Hong Kong. The vessel was registered in Hong
Kong and the IMO number of Ardenne Venture is 9290347. The vessel
is VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) and the deadweight that it has
is 318,658 metric tons. This large vessel has length of 332.99 meters
and width of 60 meters. These great measurements gave to the vessel

vessel “Taiga” is one of the largest cruide carriers of
the world. But that is not everything about the ship, because it
is the newest vessel designed with newest innovations and technologies
on board to prenet pollution and to save the Earth from any type
of pollution. The ship was built by Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding
Co. Ltd. On 28th March, 2007 and is part of the group of largect
vessels of the world – VLCC (Very Marge Crude Carriers). The
deadweight of m/v Taiga is 311,141 metric tons, while the Gross

of newly built and very modern ships property of the large ship-owner
company “Ernst Jacob” is the double hull oil tanker Urals
Star. The vessel has a deadweight of 114,847 metric tons, a length

Oceania is definitely one of the four largest vessels of the world
fleet. The ULCC (Ultra Large Crude Carrier) was built in the year
of 2002 in the Daewoo ship-yard is South Korea, by the shipping
company Hellespont. TI Oceania is one of the four sister-ships,
which are largest double-hulled supertankers, and just a month ago
I wrote one issue about one of them. The four vessel are TI Europe,
TI Asia, TI Oceania and TI Africa. Of course all of that vessels
has their own characteristics and their own features. The owner
