ANL
Warringa is container ship operated by Rickmers Maritime and property
of the company CMA CGM. The container ship has overall length
of 260.00 meters and length between perpendiculars of 244.50 meters.
The ship is really large, the moulded beam is 32.25 meters and
the depth to the main deck is 19.30 meters. The ship ANL Warringa
has deadweight of 39,900 metric tons and the designed draft when
the ship is fully loaded is 11.00 meters. The container ship ANL
Warringa is really made according to latest IMO and MARPOL requirements.
The ship is following the best practices in engineering and the
stability was improved by special static stabilizers. The ship
ANL Warringa has cargo capacity of 4,250 TEUs, which includes
2,666 TEUs on the deck divided into 7 tiers and 1,584 TEUs in
the cargo holds. The ship can pass the largest canals of the world,
so the capacity with Panama Canal Visibility is 3,905 TEUs.
Definitely we were impressed by the cargo ship technical
and tactical details, but still missed to mention about the engineering
system. The main engine is MAN B&W 8K90 MC-C with total power
of 36,560 kW at 104.0 rpm. The ship also has four auxiliary disel
generators with power
of 1,700 kW and one emergency disel generator with power of 200
kW. The ship has bow-thruster for easier maneuvering in the ports
with power of 1,600 kW. These engines are enough for the container
ship to reach service speed of 24.6 knots, while operating. But
the high speed is usually reached with high fuel consumption,
but in this case the innovation technologies are decreasing the
fuel consumption to 133.40 metric tons per day. The heavy fuel
tanks of the ship have capacity for 6,300 metric tons and the
service range of the vessel is 20,300 nautical miles.
The ships of CMA CGM usually are among the highest
innovated and profitable vessels. The company is operating with
many ships and building much more, which are rented to another
companies. The container vessel ANL Warringa was built in the
ship-yard of Dalian Old Shipbuilding Heavy Industries in January
2007. The ship has classification GL + 100 A5 container ship RSD
SOLAS II 2 Reg 19 +MC AUT and has IMO number 9324837 and Call
Sign V7LF2.
