company CMA CGM. The ship was built at the end of 2008 and quickly

was finished on 30th December 2008 by the ship-builder Daewoo Shipbuilding
& Marine Engineering Ltd in the ship-yard of the company in
South Korea. The container ship is perfectly designed and created
according to the latest requirements of IMO about MARPOL and SOLAS.
CMA CGM Thalassa has main engine MAN B&W 12K98MC-C with full
power of 72,264 kW, which is enough for the vessel to reach maximum
speed of 24.7 knots. The cruising speed of the vessel is 24.3 knots,
which is enough for such large and profitable ship. The ship is
designed with latest technologies, but due to lower taxes and rates
the ship is registered in Cyprus. The ship is registered in IMO
with number 9356294.
