 The
vessel Golden Nori is multi purpose tanker property of Dorval Kaiun
Shipping, Japan. The vessel was built by Fukuoka Zosen K.K., which
is high rated Japanese shipyard. The year, which the ship was built
was 1997 and the month was March. The chemical tanker Golden Nori
is not so big vessel, but with large measurements in comparison
with other chemical tankers. The vessel Golden Nori has an overall
length of 117.00 meters and a beam of 20.00 meters. The depth of
the vessel of 11.75 meters and the draft while the ship is fully
loaded and bunkered is 8.70 meters. The deadweight of the ship Golden
Nori is 11,677 metric tons and the gross tonnage of the vessel is
6,253 GT. The ship is very useful for the purpose of building, because
she can carry a lot of very expensive cargo. To be sure that this
vessel will sail properly and also the inert gas systems will work
properly, this ship is in need of strong and very useful engine.
The shipbuilders of Japan are on the first place in this point of
view, because they are integrating all the new and modern equipment
on board of their vessels. The chemical tanker Golden Nori is just
a good prove for my words.  The
vessel has a main engine of Mitsubishi, which gives a full power
to the ship of 12,547 kW. This is very high power for such small
ship, but ship-builders had thought about everything.
The
vessel is very interesting in designers and engineers point of view.
It is created with some innovations, while building, most of them
about the shape, which is dynamic and water resistant is reduced
much to have a low fuel consumption and increase the speed. The
maximum speed of the vessel Golden Nori is about 14.8 knots, but
the cruising or economy one is much lower of about 13 knots. The
ship is classified by IMO and Lloyd Register. Golden Nori is sailing
under the flag of Panama and the IMO number is 9151137. This is
one of the interesting chemical tankers and we tried to tell some
