The vessel Kota Kaya is absolutely new and modern ship built by
Toyohashi Shipbuilding Co Ltd. The container ship is not large,
but most of all Kota Kaya is beautiful and good designed. The vessel
has a capacity for 3,081 TEU and important feature for this ship
is that can carry reefer containers. The ship has 6 hold –
five fore and one aft. The measurements of Kota Kaya are not so
enormous, but even in spite of this fact the vessel is very profitable
and very good designed. Kota Kaya has an overall length of 233.17
meters, but the length between perpendiculars is 220.00 meters.
The difference between these two measurements is showing the optimization
of the cargo space. If the difference is very low the optimization
is good, but the water resistant is too high and the propulsion
system is working very bad. That is why all constructors and designers
are trying to find the best ratio between cargo space and speed.

and that is why the cargo space is decreased. The other measurements

7S70MC-C, which is giving a high performance at low revolutions.
The full power of the main engine of the vessel Kota Kaya is 21,735
kW at 98 rpm. The high performance propeller has a turbo ring, with
reduces the fuel oil consumption. This is giving the possibility
to the ship to sail with 22 knots cruising speed, or 22.4 knots
maximum speed. The reducing of fuel oil consumption reduce also
the CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, which is a great advance
of this propulsion system in comparison with the other ones.

to carry container with all type of size and cargo type. The dangerous
cargo containers can be stowed on the hatches and in Nos. of the
fore cargo holds. The cargo space is divided to 13 rows and 8 tiers
over the hatches and more 10 rows and 6 tiers in the holds. The
whole deadweight of the vessel Kota Kaya is 39,932 metric tons and
the gross tonnage is 31,070 gross tons. The vessel is very good
