 The
vessel MOL Creation is not so large ship, but it is quite modern.
The vessel had deadweight of 89,370 metric tons, with length of
316 meters, width of 46 meters and draught of approximately 14.6
meters. The draft, while the ship is fully loaded is about 12.9
meters. The ship has capacity to carry 8,100 TEUs and the system
of stowing and calculating containers is well improved on board
of MOL Creation. The ship is one of the series of improved safety
and environmental impact of the MOL ships, and this newly built
vessel is developing the owner strategy and idea. The ship was the
first MOL vessel, built from high tensile E Grade steel, with improved
strength YP460MPa, which is equals to 47 kg per square mm. This
improves the vessel design, reliability, environment and also ensure
the hull integrity. The ship is equipped with Mitsubishi Engine,
Wartsila RT-flex96C, designed with improved electronically maintain
fuel injection for optimal performance and minimum comsumption.
The fuel system allows control over NOx and soot exhaust, while
operation with high service speed, which for  this
vessel is 25.3 knots. This high operating speed is very important
for the ship, and allows of MOL Creation to run with so high speed
around the seas. Such fast and reliable container ship is very important
for world shipping and the ship-owner.
The
vessel MOL Creation was built in year 2007, into the ship-yard of
Nagasaki Shipyard, Japan by the ship-builder Mitsubishi Heavy Industries,
Co., Ltd. and now sailing under the flag of Bahama’s Nassau,
with IMO number 9321237. The vessel is certified by Germaniche Lloyd
Register, which is very important for the condition of the vessel
and for the reputation of the company, which ships are sailing under
convenient flags. But in spite of the fact of convenient flag, the
vessel is much innovated and very good designed. It is strong and
reliable, and also systems reduced the CO2 emissions, and the risk
of pollution is decreased to minimum. And when we are talking about
profitability, the first question is money, expenses and profits.
And you should be sure that this vessel is very profitable for the
ship-owner and for the ship operator. Because in spite of her not
so large measurements, but in now way small, MOL Creation is very
high-technology and beautiful ship.
