MSC Pamela  One of the largest ships in the world that carry containers is the vessel MSC Pamela. It was built in the ship-yard of Samsung Heavy Industries in the yeard 2005. The vessel is part of the fleet of Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC), which gave the name of the ship also. The capacity of the vessel is 9,178 TEUs. According to company policy to one crew member there are 300 containers. The deadweight of the MSC Pamela is 107,849 tons. The lenght of the vessel is 336 m, the draft is 15 m and the breadth is 45.6 m. MSC Pamela vessel has 5 sisterships, all sailing under the flag of Panama. The vessel is very interesting with its constructional signs and its outlooking. The vessel is very interesting and shines with many stars on the sky of MSC, which is one of the largest container carrying companies.
To carry so many containers and to sail with enough speed, MSC Pamela portthis vessel needs an engine that can do the job. The main engine had a consumation of 248 tonnes of heavy fuel oil per day. The maximum speed of the vessel is 25.2 knots. This vessel is operating mostly between the largest ports of Eastern Asia, North America and Europe, but also there are some other ports that are included into the voyages of MSC Pamela. The vessel broke the record of maximum containers that can be carried by one vessel Panamax. The Panamax is the maximum measurements of the vessel that can pass throught Panama chanal. The vessel MSC Pamela is one of the largest ever built in the world. You may wonder how is looking such a container vessel and how will you feel sailing with it. This is why I choose to introduce to your attention the motor vessel MSC Pamela
