One

ship was finished in 2008 in the ship-yard of Toyohashi Shipbuilding
in Japan. This is one of the highest qualitied ship-yard of the
world, which created some of the best car carriers, sailing nowadays.
The ship is single hull vessel with overall length of 199.94 meters,
while the length between perpendiculars of the vessel is 190.00
meters. The vessel has moulded beam of 32.25 meters and depth of
34.20 meters. The draft while the car carrier Michigan Highway is
fully loaded can reach up to 8.50 meters. These measurements are
giving large cargo capacity of the vessel, and the net tonnage of
18,800 net tons. This cargo ship is really large and has deadweight
of 17,673 metric tons and gross tonnage of 36,408 gross tons. The

operator of the vessel Michigan Highway is the company best known
in car carrying “K” Line. This company has hundreds
of czar carriers sailing all over the world

cargo ship has two loading ramps situated in the aft and in mid
starboard. This is quite enough for the constructors to believe
that time of loading, cargo handling and discharging will be decreased
with up to 20%. The ship has 10 cargo decks, from which 3 are liftable
and can carry all king of vehicles – single units like cars,
or heavy vehicles, just like cranes, trucks and so on. The car carrier
has capacity for 6,100 units, according to comp-any statistic. The
ship is really good, in perfect condition and designed according
to all requirements of IMO and Japan Maritime Organization. The
cargo ship has service speed of 20.0 knots, while the maximum speed
