Santa
Ana is from the product tankers of Erns Jacob Group and the ship
is managed by Warrow Shipping Ltd. The vessel Santa Ana is not as
large as the more of the product tankers or oil tankers, but really
the ship is not so small. The overall length of the vessel is 188.93
meters and the length between perpendiculars is 181.53 meters. The
beam of Santa Ana is 28.00 meters and the moulded depth is 16.00
meters. All these measurements are giving to the product tanker
deadweight of 38,695 metric tons. The gross tonnage of the vessel
is 24,252 gross tons and the net tonnage is 11,704 net tons. The
vessel Santa Ana was built in August 2002 into the ship-yard of
Daimen Shipyard in Galati, Romania. This is not so high rated ship-yard,
but the vessel is pretty good and is in very good condition. The
ship is registered under the flag of Cayman Islands and the IMO
number is 9037159. The call sign of the ship Santa Ana is ZCIY2.
In spite of not so
high rated ship-yard for building this ship, and tax cheap registry
of the vessel, Santa Ana is certified by Germanisher Lloyd. This
is giving a high providence of this ship and this is important for
one product tanker.
Santa
Ana is not from the largest product tankers of the world, but the
ship is very profitable for ship owner. And now we should talko
a little bit more about cargo system. The ship has a cargo space
capacity of 41,092 cubic meters, which is divided into 15 cargo
tanks. The TPC (Top Per Centimetre) value is 46.11 tons, which means
that if on board are loaded 47.11 tons with density of 1, the draft
will increase with 1 centimetre. This is very important for vessels
in calculating of the weight of maximum cargo. The ship??s cargo
space can be restricted by draft or by cargo space, and this TPC
is giving the exact answer of this question. The ship is designed
to be effective and useful, that is why the cargo system has ability
to load up to 3 different cargos. And for product tankers this is
very important because they are carrying
different types of fuel on board together. The cargo pumps on board
are centrifugal, driven by electricity. The cargo pumps are 3 with
discharging rate of 700 cubic meters per hour each.
And
I said that this ship is designed to be effective and useful for
the ship-owner. The mail engine of Santa Ana is MAN B&W 6L60
MC, with power of 8,380 kW. The engine is specially built in Bryansk
with model 6 DKRN 60/195-10. The product tanker has propeller with
4 blades, right handed with pitch 0,691 mm made by special Bronze
with category 3. The auxiliary diesel generators are four Alco Resita
6 6R251-FGE, each with power of 675 kW. The boilers on board are
3 at all. One oil fired boiler with horizontal tube with capacity
of 15,000 kg per hour, one oil fired vertical boiler with capacity
of 1,250 kg per hour, one SAAKE burner with pressure of 7 bars and
one stream boiler with gas heater with pressure of 7 bars. The vessel
Santa Ana is one very good and reliable ship, built in Romania,
but certified by Germanisher Lloyd Register and sailing in the fleet
of Ernst Jacob. The vessel is very profitable and for product tanker
is very interesting in design and machinery.
