One
of container vessels of the national Bulgarian ship-owner Navigation
Bulgarian maritime (Navibulgar) is the ships Stoyko Peev. The company
is not from the best and highest rated companies, because of the
bad ruling of the ships. In spite of everything today's article
is motor vessel Stoyko Peev. the ship has an overall length of 148.66
meters and length between perpendiculars is 137.12 meters. the beam
of motor vessel Stoyko Peev is 21 meters and the draft of the ship,
while fully loaded is 8.45 meters, while the depth of the ship is
10.12 meters. All gthe measurements are moulded and avarage values,
because of the difference along the ship. The deadweight of the
vessel Stoyko Peev is 11,047 metric tons, while the gross tonnage
is 9,549 GT, and the net tonnage is 4,095 NT. The container capacity
of the ship is small, nearly 564 TEU, divided to 246 TEU underdeck
and 318 TEU overdeck. the vessel is sailing under Bulgarian Flag
and ceritified by Bulgarian Maritime Organization. Also the P&I
certificate of Stoyko peev was taken in West of England, Luxembourg.
Stoyko
Peev has a long history in the company. The ship was built in 1985
in Bulgarian Ship-yard of Varna. The vessel has a Hull BR 100, this
is special hull for container ships, certified by IMO. The ship
Stoyko Peev is very high qualited while building. The building yard
of Varna, Bulgaria is one of the most known and innovative in the
world. Because of bad ruling, as the most things in the country
the ship-yard was in bankrupcy in 2000. Now the yard is working,
but too far away from the old glory. The motor vessel Stoyko Peev
has a lot of innovations and very good shape for the years of building.
The ship has a two bow thrusters, very important for each container
vessels. The bow thrusters has a power of 367 KW each. Also the
ship's propulsion system is very high qualited and very good working.
But even comperatively good ship for the years 1985 is making too
high fuel and luboil consuption, which is about 35% more than the
newly built vessels, and if we compare this values with some of
the most economy ships, the percentage is jumping to nearly 43%.
This was motor vessel Stoyko peev, one of the beautiful Bulgarian
ships, property og Navibulgar, and sailing in Mediterranean and
Black seas.
