One
of the largest bulk carriers built ever is the owe owned by Pronav
- SAAR N. The vessel is with deadweight of 122,259 mtons, which
is very much for bulk carrier. SAAR N has BRT of 63,152 mtons
and NRT of 37,568 mtons.The vessel is with lenght of 266.0m and
the beam is 40m. Also the draft of the vessel is 15.42m, and it
is very hard or it to come into many of ports, because of large
measurements. If you like big ships you should know that they
need of a lot of power to move. The vessel SAAR N is equiped with
main engine Daewoo Shipbuilding & Heavy Machinery Ltd with
power of 11907 kW. The vessel was built in 1995 and is in very
good condition. The outlooking of this ship is wonderful it is
something very large and very interesting. You may imagine how
this ship is maneuvering, but it is not so bad.
To
be useful this ship don't need so high speed, but also not so
low. So
the costructors had desided that the optimal speed of SAAR N bulk
carries should be not more than 15 knots, and it is 14 in fact.
The maximum speed of the vessel is about 15 knots. The ship of
ProNav is operating in the Atlantic Ocean, between the 3 of the
continents - Europe, South and North America. SAAR N has 9 holds,
4 longer and 5 smaller. That is beacuse when the heavier mateieal
should be carried, to be easily stowed.

registered in Monrovia, as more of the largest vessels of the

IMO number is 9085340 and the call sign is A8CI8 (Alpha 8 Charlie

it may need for the crew to feel safe on board. The crew is mostly
Bulgarians, Croatians, Filipino and Tovalo.
