of the best yacht builders and designers definitely is Benetti.
The yacht Benetti 85 has a length of 85 feet, which is equals to
25.82 meters. The beam of the yacht Benetti 85 is 25 feet, equals
to 7 meters, the draft is 1.67 meters. These measurements are making
one of the most modern and very beautiful yachts built ever. Bnetti
85 has displacement of 165 metric tons, which is prettymuch for
one not so large yacht. the maximum speed, which the yacht can reach
is 13 knots. This is provided by two main engines CAT C15 Acert
with full power of 636 kW (850 hp) at 2,300 rpm each. The main engines
are very high and strong and economy and this allows to the yacht
to be independent by fuel for more than 8 days, while sailing with
the cruising speed of 12.5 knots. The fuel consumption of the yacht
Benetti 85 is 15.4 gallons per hour, while the yacht is sailing
with cruising (economy) speed. The water capacity of Benetti 85
is 3000 liters, which is equals to 792 gallons. The yacht is also
equipped with bow thruster VT Naiad 33 kW for easier maneuvering
in the ports and to be easily moored to the quay.
But for living on board of the yacht you need of electricity.
Two Kohler generators are producing electricity for the living purpose.
The generators have power of 40kW each, and produc electricity of

0 VAC at 50 Hz.
But when we are talking about yachts, the information
about technics and engines. More interesting is the equippment inside.
The yacht is designed for 8 persons divided into 4 cabins. The crew
accomodation is 2 cabins for 3 members. The interior design is made
specially from benetti designer Francois Zuretti. The large living
room is situated in the main deck. Large LCD TV,leather coaches
and glass table are the most luxury part of the room. Small and
fashion designed accessories are making the atmosphere more comfortable
and beautiful. You will think that you are in sailing bar, but not
in yacht. On board of Benetti 85 you will be like in 5 star hotel.
The staterooms are divided for the owner, for VIP guests and one
room with less luxury equippment and furniture. The yacht is pretty
good equipped for water sports and fishing. There is one water-jet
for driving round the yacht while you are in open sea. Also you
will find a nice 3 places for sunbathing all very good and hidder
from the other yachts or brom the shore. You will feel perfect while
sailing on board of Benetti 85. The exterior is designed by Stefano
Righini. This is one very good designer of Benetti yacht, and you
should be stupid to tell that this yacht is not beautiful. it is
large, economy, ecological and also very comfortable for the customers,
who like sailing.
